OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR ANIMAL HANDLERS

The occupational health and safety program for animal handlers is administered by Environmental Health and Safety/ Office of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Safety and the MSU Occupational Health Service in cooperation with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and the Office of Regulatory Affairs. This program was designed for all MSU personnel and students involved in animal research, care and handling (including animal wastes and unfixed tissues).
