MSU anticipates that additional wells will need to be installed to meet future campus water demands. It is further anticipated that one well will likely be installed within the next five years. Areas available for siting Type I water supply wells will likely decline as campus properties are developed. Any new wells developed by MSU will become part of the WHPP. At a minimum, this will involve completing a WHPA delineation for the well(s), and prepare a CSI for the WHPA and update other elements in the WHPA to include the new wells. Prospective new well locations have been incorporated into MSU's 2020 Vision Plan. |
