A Chemical Waste Pickup

1 |
Gather the waste containers destined for disposal. |

Use the Hazardous Materials Table (Appendix G) to look up an ID# for each chemical. |

3 |
Enter ID#'s and names of the chemicals from the Hazardous Materials Table, the container size and the number of containers on the Pick-up Request Form (link below). |

4 |
Indicate if any replacement containers are needed. Use the comments section of the Pick-up Request Form (link below) to denote any scheduling conflicts e.g., "Lab open in afternoons only" or "will not be here Friday." A trained departmental employee must be present to sign the manifest at the time of the pick-up. |

5 |
Fill out the on-line request form located on the ORCBS web site (link below)). An ORCBS technician will visit your lab within 10 working days to remove the material. |

| Improperly
packaged, unlabeled or overfilled containers will not be picked up! |
